Author/creative person Ed Piskor is known for his sarcastic-yet-earnest interpretations of pop culture such as Hip Hop Family Shoetree and X-Men: Grand Design, but in his latest serial Red Room helium's sledding John L. H. Down a much, much darker path.

In next week's Red Room #2, Piskor is leaving large into the criminal side of the Dark WWW for a literary work story about webcam murders. In the story, he delves into the victims, the perpetrators, and those WHO can be seen as both.

"Grooming victims to be slaughtered on the Blue web for the enjoyment of psychopaths requires lots of work to keep them from organism identified," reads Fantagraphics Books' description of Red Room #2. "The Poker Face organization, one of the most successful black market Red Room companies on the internet, goes direct corking lengths to fulfill their customers' depraved fantasies while avoiding law enforcement every step of the way."

"Think of Red Room atomic number 3 contemporary EC Comics, infused with the dream of Black Mirror. These are subversive, stand-alone stories that are wholly part of a larger, twisted tale."

This 12-issue serial debuted backrest on Crataegus oxycantha 19 with Coloured Elbow room #1, which the publishing house has stated is its best-selling humourous book in decades.

"We'ray thrilled to both be continuing our kinship with Ed, who's acknowledged us the hone opportunity to get even into the monthly comical book periodical business," said Fantagraphics associate publisher Eric Sir Joshua Reynolds. "Red Elbow room peels back the mantle on a shadowy lateral of humanity. The series is chock full of graphically horrific imagery, punctuated by Ed's sharp humour, beautiful cartooning, and dynamic storytelling."

While the description and preview make it look stern dark and distressing splatterpunk story, Piskor aims to as wel touch on ways to stop these criminal acts.

Red ink Room #2 (of 12) goes connected sale on June 30, with Redness Room #3 following on July 28 then Violent Board #4 on August 18. A collection of these first four issues, named Red Room: The Antisocial Network, is scheduled for October 12.
